Fontaines D.C. vocalist Grian Chatten has introduced his debut solo LP: Chaos for the Fly is out June 30 through Partisan Data. New single ‘Fairlies’, which follows earlier providing ‘The Rating’, arrives in the present day together with a video animated by Callum Scott-Dyson. Speaking in regards to the new monitor, Chatten mentioned in a press release: “I wrote ‘Fairlies’ in intense warmth. Partly in Jerez, Spain, partly in LA a few days earlier than a Fontaines D.C. tour kicked off. It was a fast write, and I consider I celebrated every line with a beer.”
Chaos for the Fly was co-produced by longtime Fontaines D.C. collaborator Dan Carey. “I simply thought: I wish to do that myself,” Chatten defined. “I do know the place we as a band are going subsequent and that’s not the place I wish to go together with this.
