Slowdive’s Rachel Goswell Joins Drab Majesty on New Song ‘Vanity’

Drab Majesty have introduced a brand new EP, An Object in Movement, which drops on August 25 through Dais Information. To accompany the announcement, they’ve shared the brand new single ‘Self-importance’, which options visitor vocals from Slowdive’s Rachel Goswell. Test it out under.

“As a very long time listener and devotee of Slowdive, a band that actually formed my DNA as a listener and musician, it was actually humbling to have Rachel supply her iconic vocal stylings to this tune,” the band’s Deb Demure mentioned in a press release. “Her voice is a sonic treasure and unmistakable. I’m infinitely grateful to name her a good friend and am nonetheless pinching myself questioning – how did we get right here?”

Goswell added: “It’s no secret that I’m a very long time Drab Majesty fan so when Deb requested me some years in the past now if I’d be occupied with collaborating it was a right away sure. Honoured to provide my voice to Self-importance.”
